Theater Production Program
Season January - June 2026
Focus: Comedy
In January 2026, a new season of the IMAGO POR LAS ARTES Theater Production Program begins. This time, we dive into the world of comedy: rhythm, play, listening, precision, and scenic truth—the essential elements that allow us to make audiences laugh without losing depth.
As in every edition, the program focuses on the comprehensive development of a theatrical work, which will be selected and explored from table work—reading, text analysis, character construction, and understanding the dramatic universe—through to full stage production and public performance. This is a complete and rigorous process, where learning happens through doing, constant rehearsal, and shared experience.
The program is designed for individuals interested in exploring and developing their acting skills, who have the time, willingness, and commitment required to move through all stages of the creative process. It is a space for those who wish to learn by acting and reach one of the most essential moments in theater: stepping onto the stage and sharing their work with an audience.
During this season, the process will once again be led by Mónica Quintero and Saúl Mendoza, actors, teachers, and theater directors, who will guide the group through all phases of the production—from technical and expressive work to the final staging.
The program includes approximately 38 to 40 sessions, each lasting 2.5 hours, meeting twice a week, as the group collectively builds the performance. The process culminates with three public performances in June, preceded by in-theater rehearsals to fine-tune every detail of the production.
