Join our Theatrical Creation Workshop for Adults with renowned contemporary theater director Raúl Martín. Through games, movement, and collaborative exercises, you'll explore acting, voice, and expression in a dynamic and supportive environment.
No experience needed—just bring your passion!
Time & Location:
Mondays and Wednesdays in July, 2025, specifically: 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, and 30 (8 classes total).
Time: 7 pm to 9 pm

About the workshop
OBJECTIVES:
To awaken creative abilities through exercises, games, and experiences related to theater. To foster group dynamics, encourage communication and uninhibited expression, and develop skills that support social performance through stage performance.
To discover acting skills, movement, and voice use with stage projection. To lead participants to use metaphor and imagery in connection with their bodies and objects.
METHOD:
Training through on-stage games based on ideas proposed by the instructor, including texts from poems, plays, songs, and choreographies inspired by individual and group movement. Scene staging to be presented as the final result of the workshop.

About the facilitator
Born in Havana, Cuba, he is a distinguished theater director with a strong academic background and an extensive artistic career. A graduate in Theater Instruction from E.N.I.T. and in Theater Directing from I.S.A., he trained under renowned Cuban directors such as Roberto Blanco and Carlos Díaz. In addition to his work as a director, he has contributed to costume design, set design, lighting, acting, choreography, and has served as a workshop facilitator for various theater and dance groups. In 1997, he founded Teatro de La Luna, gaining both national and international recognition.
Raúl has directed theatrical productions in numerous countries across Latin America, Europe, and Turkey. Since 2014, he has served as a theater specialist at the Fábrica de Arte Cubano. In 2019, he earned a Master’s degree in Theater Directing, and in 2023, he founded the theater group Teatro El Duende in the Dominican Republic. His excellence has earned him the “For National Culture” order and the most prestigious awards in Cuban theater, establishing him as an influential figure in the international theater scene.
