Miami Children's Storytelling Festival 2025

The Miami Children’s Storytelling Festival 2024, created by IMAGO POR LAS ARTES, celebrates the power of storytelling by showcasing original tales brought to life by children ages 7 to 14 with Hispanic roots. This inspiring program aims to preserve oral tradition as a vital part of our cultural heritage while empowering young storytellers to unleash their creativity.

Through hands-on workshops, participants will learn to craft, write, and illustrate their own stories. They will then bring their creations to life in a vibrant festival setting, where they design characters, build scenic elements, and present their stories to the community in captivating performances.

The Miami Children’s Storytelling Festival is made possible through a partnership between IMAGO POR LAS ARTES and IMAGO, with the generous support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor, and the Board of County Commissioners, as well as the collaboration of nonprofit partners Hand2Hand and Across Mission.
